Our history runs deep along the shores of Bohai Bay. Ancient texts from the Zhou Dynasty first noted this region's natural abundance of salt. By 925 AD, the "Lutai Saltern" was officially established—marking the beginning of a tradition that would endure for over a millennium.

During the Ming and Qing dynasties, our salt earned the name "Lutai Jade Crystal" for its pure white color and clean taste. It became the exclusive tribute salt for the imperial court—a standard of excellence we still uphold today.

In 1981
LUHUA officially registered as a brand. Awarded the National Quality Award—China's highest honor for product excellence.
In 1996
Designated as China's first licensed edible salt producer (No. 001). Pioneered the "vacuum evaporation" technique, revolutionizing traditional salt-making.
